O’Donnell, who shared 4-year-old daughter, Dakota, with Rounds, told People: “I am saddened to hear about this terrible tragedy. Mental illness is a very serious issue affecting many families. My thoughts and prayers go out to Michelle’s family, her wife and their child.”

The 55-year-old actress also retweeted a fan’s post who wrote: “lovelovelove to @Rosie. If this is triggering anyone, I hope they’ll contact the suicide prevention hotline 1-800-273-8255.”

Tragically, Rounds was found just after 7am on Monday, September 11, 2017 in her home according to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office. Born in Corning, New York, she attended State University of New York before becoming a top recruiter for Modis in New York City. Back in 2015, she was hospitalized following an apparent overdose.

Rounds and O’Donnell were married in June 2012 but finalized their divorce in 2016. The former remarried and leaves behind her wife, Krista Monteleone, parents, Roger and Gayla Rounds, brother Tad (Janet) Rounds, two daughters, and one stepson.

Any loss of life is sad and we hope her loved ones can find comfort during this very difficult time.
