Kim Kardashian Looked ‘So Different’ in 2008 — See the Photos

Kim Kardashian’s #TBT post just topped yours! Ahead of Sunday’s Teen Choice Awards, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star, 35, reflected on her one-time stint as an red carpet correspondent for E! at the 2008 ceremony.

“I wanted to show you guys some throwback photos of when I hosted the red carpet show back in 2008,” the mom to North and Saint with husband Kanye West wrote in a Thursday, July 28, post on her website. “I wore a silver Bradley Bayou dress. These pics were taken eight years ago; my style and glam were so different then.”

Indeed, Kardashian’s look for the evening was radically different from the styles we’re used to seeing her rock today. The Kimoji entrepreneur’s white strapless dress featured a full, knee-length skirt speckled with polka dots and cinched with a huge belt. She teamed the feminine frock with a pair of metallic-silver peep-toe slingback pumps.

As for hair and glam, the Selfish author pulled her long brunette locks into a romantic low bun, leaving a few face-framing strands loose. And instead of her signature glowy contours, heavily-lashed eyes and nude lip, she swept on pink blush and a rich red lip.

It was a fun look meant for an unforgettable night. “E! broadcasted the red carpet pre-show, and I interviewed a bunch of attendees, like Britney Spears and Randy Jackson,” Kardashian continued in her post. “That year, Keeping Up With the Kardashians was nominated for an award in the reality show category, and I was nominated for Choice TV Reality/Variety Star too! I remember us all being so excited, because it was our first time being nominated!”

And of course, Kardashian couldn’t pass up the opportunity for a plug. “I love that Keeping Up is nominated again this year! Make sure to watch Sunday at 8/7c on Fox!” she teased.

The Teen Choice Awards airs on Fox, Sunday at 8 p.m. ET.
